The Mudgee Regional AIMS Seminar for 2024 was another great success.
The Mudgee Regional AIMS seminar was held on Friday 22nd March, 2024. It was a great turnout, and the Parklands Resort was again the perfect venue. Keeping a similar format to previous seminars, it was great to have over 55 delegates in attendance.
Thursday night (21st March) kicked off with a night of socialising and catching up at The Mudgee Brewery. This was a fantastic start with people mingling, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, setting the scene for the presentations to follow on the Friday.
Attendees enjoyed the chance to sample the wonderful Mudgee beer and cider from local companies.
Friday morning, we had an early start. This year we asked our sponsors to make short presentations for the delegates on their latest software and technology or a case study on the use of their equipment or software.
We offered 25min presentations from our amazing sponsors. These included Maptek, UPG, Carlson and CR Kennedy before breaking for morning tea. After morning tea we had presentations from Woolpert, Sphere Drones and Aptella. This bought us up to lunch and also the close of the seminar. A short focussed 3-hour 3 point seminar which was well received by our delegates.
Lunch was a great opportunity to catch up with other delegates and also have a one-on-one chat with our sponsors. Thanks also to Fyfe for being a sponsor of the Mudgee Seminar, although they did not make a presentation.
It was great to see a number of delegates make the journey to Mudgee despite not needing or requiring CPD points.
