After an evening of networking at one of Brisbane's top 'pubs' the Queensland subcommittee members spent the Saturday discussing keys issues confronting mine surveyors in Queensland. Each of the six members were given a highlighted topic to investigate before the meeting.
The meeting was then used to present the finding to the group. With the constraints of work life the committee decided on an order of priority to each task and a timeframe to complete these. There is a lot of hard work to be completed over the next couple of years but now we have a good plan moving forward.
The AIMS board appreciate the time and effort put in by the subcommittees setup across the country. If you would like to be involve in certain aspects of the AIMS organisation please get in contact with your state board member.
