Rick,
I spend a lot of time updating our Haz/Dang & Non-Haz/Dang Registers onsite and it regularly ends up with a lot of angst getting 'compliant' SDS sheets & other info. All substances used & sold in Aust are required by WH&S Leg to have relevant Oz data and mostly this is found on the manufacturer/supplier's website.
In some case they go through a 3rd party website registry that holds the current sheets, but either way they must be updated every 5 years. Unfortunately, in some cases you have to directly contact the company (phone/email) for info.
Hope this helps.

Is there an easy way to find info for the "Hazard_type" attribute in the Hazardous Material theme? I found last year that this was the hardest attribute to track down. Sometimes you can find it in the SDS, but it looks like it depends which country the substance comes from. Is it from the 'Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals', which seems to be neither global, nor harmonious!
Any ideas would be appreciated.
