The University of Southern Queensland Surveying and Spatial Science Student Conference on 22ⁿᵈ September 2021 presents a unique opportunity for potential employers of surveying graduates.
The Event
Each year approximately 100 third and fourth year surveying students participate in their final year conference travelling from all parts of Australia. At the conference the final year students present the findings from their research projects to an audience of their peers and industry professionals.
The Opportunity
This year USQ is inviting potential employers of surveying graduates to participate in an informal meet and greet on the morning of the conference. The three-hour session precedes the opening of the Conference and gives the opportunity for students and potential employers to meet in a relaxed setting. Employers can showcase current or future career opportunities with their organisations while students can start to build relationships with established industry professionals. The Employer representatives are welcome to then attend the Conference and see what the students have achieved in their final year.
Practical Arrangements
There is limited space available for the meet and greet. Each participating organisation will be provided with floor space, trestle table and seating. Bookings will be essential. To express interest in participating contact:
