A successful AIMS networking event was held at the Breakfast Creek Hotel in Brisbane on August 28th 2020.
With so few opportunities to meet with our colleagues and suppliers at present, it was excellent to be able to reconnect at this low-key event. Following the venue’s strict COVID safe plan, around 40 of our South East QLD members and sponsors enjoyed a relaxed “seated” networking event. It was a great success, a greater turnout and more sponsorship this year than any year previous. It was run at no cost to AIMS and it was refreshing to see equal numbers of coal and metal surveyors being represented.
Thank you to Quentin Albertyn, our QLD Subcommittee Chairperson, and to all our sponsors who made this event possible. When permissible and safe to do so, we look forward to holding similar social functions at other centres for the benefit of AIMS members.
