As previously reported, there are changes afoot with regards to the WA mining regulations and how that in particular, affects mining surveyors in Western Australia.
A group of concerned mining surveyors has come together to help form a response, and offer assistance to the DMP to ensure that the safety aspects, with regards to mine survey are maintained.
The link to the document below spells out our plan of action in the short term, and also contains a survey, to ensure that we will be making a representation that reflects the wishes of the majority of the interested surveyors in WA.
