- The competition is open to all 2026 financial members only so please make sure you have renewed first!
- No AI generated or AI assisted images will be accepted
- AIMS Ltd directors are excluded from the competition
- Photos must be generally relevant to an active surveying or mine surveying task
- Photos will be judged on relevance, quality, originality, creativity and visual appeal
- The judging team will be determined by the AIMS Board
- The top photo as determined by our judging team will be awarded the prize and the decision will be final
- The closing date for submissions is the end of September 2026
- The winner will be notified and announced on this website shortly thereafter

FULL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Each photo submission, to be valid, must be;
- submitted by a current 2026 financial member,
- created by a real person and not generated or assisted by AI,
- generally relevant to an active surveying or mine surveying task,
- absent of any obvious branding,
- very high quality, generally sharp and clear,
- oriented in either 'landscape' or 'portrait' orientation,
- a length (preferably) of at least 1600px on the longest side,
- supplied in jpg format and less than 10Mb in size,
- your own personal property and original work,
- free of any copyright or corporate licensing or other encumbrances,
- currently unpublished in any media including social media, and
- released with full permission to AIMS Ltd. to be used for any purpose.
All submissions will require a declaration of originality and release.
