AIMS would like to advise of careers days organised by the NSW Surveying Taskforce (Surveying Careers) of which AIMS is a member. The taskforce is seeking volunteers to man the booth at each of these events and would love to have mining surveyors involved.
Surveying Careers would like to build on the success of 2025 and are now planning the 2026 school engagement and career outreach program. Surveying Careers is seeking volunteers to support career expos, work experience opportunities, Surveying Unleashed and their latest initiative Drones, Data and Directions alongside other school related activities throughout 2026.
Please fill out the attached document which lists the different events which are in the Surveying Careers Calendar for the first half of 2026. If you can please tick the events you are able to attend and return it to Surveying Careers at: nsw@surveyingcareers.com.au by Thursday 12th February 2026 that would be much appreciated.
Please note that some events are listed as full day events, however, any time you are willing to offer is much appreciated as we can break the day up into a Morning and Afternoon session if that aligns better with your capacity.
