AIMS hosted a NSW Candidate workshop on Thursday 20th November 2025 in the Hunter Valley.
There were 11 candidates in attendance from across NSW including Broken Hill, the central west, Illawarra and Hunter Valley, with two examiners in attendance (Nic Tucker and Peter Sergeant).Trevor Collins also attended as a guest presenter.
Topics covered included the preparation on mine plans and mine workings spatial information, least squares adjustments, engineering projects, planning and approvals projects. There was also an opportunity to review past legislation exam questions.
