Kurri Kurri Workshop

BOSSI Workshop for Candidate Surveyors and Supervisors will once again be held at Kurri Kurri TAFE on 22nd and 23rd May 2015.  The workshop will include presentations on ePlan, Spatial Information, and requirements for each assessment, as well as a session for candidates and supervisors to chat with assessors about specific projects and assessments.  Candidate surveyors are encouraged to bring their projects to discuss with assessors.   Application forms will be sent to candidates from early April.  If you do not receive an application form please contact the BOSSI Office.

Change to BOSSI CPD Policy

At the recent BOSSI meeting held on 26th February, the Board has approved the allocation of CPD points for surveyors making presentations to pre-tertiary school students on surveying.  Surveyors will be able to claim 1 survey practice point per hour for a maximum of 2 points per presentation for a maximum of 4 points in any CPD period.  As per other CPD activities, presentations will need to be assessed by a ratified organisation before points will be allocated to surveyors.
