The AIMS 2019 Moranbah Interactive Technology Day, held on May 15, was a great success again this year.
Sixty delegates attended, including our valued sponsors and local students from Moranbah State High School.
Once again the sponsors demonstrated new and exciting technology in both hardware and software. From the feedback we received the format is still engaging.
Workshops from CR Kennedy, Position Partners, UPG, Sphere Drones, Carlson, AAM and Maptek showcased the latest in Drones, Laser Scanning, Monitoring, Cloud based data management and Aerial Surveying.
Thank you to the local survey superintendents Chris Crosby and Quentin Albertyn. They assisted in a briefing session with the students, to set the scene on what surveying is all about and how we use the technology on display in mining.
