2019 AIMS SALARY SURVEY 180The 2019 AIMS Salary Survey was the 14th annual salary survey undertaken by AIMS. The report has been independently compiled and is once again available to download in various formats and filters for added convenience.

89 Members participated in the survey

AGE
18% of respondents are under 30 years old
17% are over 50 years old

LOCATION
44% are from NSW
20% are from QLD
27% are from WA

EXPERIENCE
40% have less than 10 years experience
15% have more than 25 years experience

QUALIFICATIONS
66% hold a Bachelor Degree/Masters Degree

EMPLOYMENT
78% have additional significant roles
92% are working permanent full-time
28% work in excess of 50 hours per week

REMUNERATION
18% have a total package in excess of $200k pa

 
 

INTRODUCTION

AIMS members were again invited to provide a snapshot of their current salary package via an online web survey so that information could be collated and this report prepared.

This report intends to represent a general overview of current salary trends in the profession of mine surveying and/or to assist as a potential 'benchmark' in any salary negotiations.

In addition it provides members' feedback on various aspects of AIMS services such as seminars and communications.

The results and summaries are independently compiled and produced. Notwithstanding any errors or omissions, it is an accurate report of the information as provided by the AIMS members who participated in the survey.
