AAM Munara Group 180AAM, a leading Australian surveying company, has announced a partnership with a local indigenous surveying company Wumara Group.

The announcement coincides with 2018 NAIDOC Week, a national celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.

AAM have entered a professional and mutually supportive relationship with the Sydney-based Wumara Group.

Wumara Group is a proudly 100% Indigenous owned and managed Land Surveying company.

AAM is a multidisciplinary Geospatial organisation specialising in construction, infrastructure and development surveying, laser scanning, smart city 3D modelling and cloud-hosted solutions.

AAM is supporting and co-working with Wumara Group to enable advancement of their spatial capabilities. Wumara Group is assisting and co-working with AAM in developing indigenous engagement policies, cultural awareness training and developing other policies and initiatives to benefit Indigenous Australians. Both groups will work together on multi-disciplinary projects across a wide variety of applications.

Together, AAM and Wumara strive to empower Indigenous Australians by providing educational and employment opportunities.

Dylan Frank, the Managing Director of Wumara Group recently met with and joined the AAM Survey team in Sydney.

AAM’s General Manager of Surveying, Braith McClure says, “Dylan will be a welcomed and valuable member of the Sydney survey group, providing much needed support to the construction crews.”
