Mudgee 2016 Seminar Review

mudgee 2016

The AIMS 2016 Mudgee Seminar was held in March and was a great success. The event began with a candidates session held at Club Mudgee, followed by dinner at Roth's Wine Bar on the Friday. The seminar itself was then held on the Saturday.

The seminar included interesting presentations on several mine surveying topics such as mine surveying at Carborough Downs, PPP System - RTK via satellite, supervision in mine surveying, backfill procedures, monitoring on a budget and natural landform development.

Attendees earned valuable CPD points whilst engaging in topics of great interest in our industry.

Around 60 people attended the seminar and according to the AIMS Treasurer Chris Nixon the seminar "had a nice buzz to it".

"Conference Images did a good job making sure everything ran smoothly, and the suppliers / sponsors were a really nice addition to the seminar." Chris added.

Both the sponsors presence and the organisation by Conference Images definitely gave the seminar a very professional feel.

The AIMS Board wishes to thank the attendees - including the sponsors - and look forward to seeing more AIMS members and sponsors at the future AIMS seminars.
