BOSSI Mining Assessment - Applications Open

AIMS NSW members are advised that mining assessment applications are now open via the BOSSI OneGov portal.

Note: Applications for Mining Assessments close 5pm Thursday 20 August 2026.

Important Information For Candidates

Applicants for Board examinations must:

Be a financial candidate, and
Have obtained at least 26 weeks of recognised practical experience together with the specific requirements of the examination(s) they wish to undertake, and
Have nominated a mentoring surveyor.

If a candidate’s application to sit a Board examination is approved, the Registrar will provide notification via email of the date, time and location of the Board examinations.

Mining Legislations Assessment - 16 September 2026
Mining Oral Assessment - 14 October 2026
