The Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors is again proud to sponsor the NSW Excellence in Surveying & Spatial Information Awards.

Organisers are now calling for entries in the following categories:

- People & Community
- Infrastructure & Construction
- Extra Dimension
- Sustainable Development
- Spatial Information
- Cadastral Surveying
- Mining Surveying

Mining Surveyors in particular are encouraged to submit a project in the Mining Surveying category which has been carried out for either a coal or metaliferous mining operation and which uses innovative techniques to achieve the project objectives.

Key Dates

• Expressions of Interest by 31 May 2011
• Final Entries by 11 July 2011
• Awards Evening Saturday 24 September 2011 at the Hilton Hotel

Entry into the NSW EISSI AWARDS 2011 is a 3 step process as follows:

1. Download the Information Kit (pdf)

2. Complete the expression of interest form provided within the Information Kit
or online at http://www.acsnsw.com.au/content/165/nsw-excellence-awards-registration.aspx

3. Submit the expression of interest form by 31st May 2011.

Closing date for final entries is 11th July 2011.
