2010. The Act amends the Coal Mine Health and Safety Act 2002 in relation to

RapidEye Covers 70% of Australia in 11 Months
AAMHatch is pleased to announce that

of Australia, representing almost 70% of the continent.
This imagery will prove useful for a range of applications, including
agribusiness, environment and pre-feasibility stages of many projects.

Glonass reaches 22 satellites
Three Glonass-M spacecraft (№30, 33, 34) launched
yesterday from Baikonur in Kazakhstan, successfully reaching circular orbit
with an atitude of 19140 km. Russian Space Command has taken control of the
three new Glonass satellites reporting orbital operations are normal.
The satellites are intended for Russian Global Navigation system GLONASS, with Glonass-M provide positioning accuracy 2.5 times higher than for the spacecraft of previous generations.
This launch brings the total number of Glonass satellites on orbit to 22. By comparison, there are currently 32 operational GPS satellites, including 8 of the new generation Block IIR-M satellites which transmit a second civil signal L2C.
Amendment of the NSW Surveying Act 2002
Following a statutory review of the
Surveying Act 2002, which included industry consultation and stakeholder
meetings, the Surveying Amendment Bill was introduced to NSW Parliament in
October 2009, passing both houses without amendment before being ascented to
on 14 December 2009. The revised Act will now be known as the Surveying &
Spatial Information Act 2002 and along with the name change, some other
important amendments and additions have been made.
